Our Services
At CHG, we are committed to providing accessible and compassionate medical care to individuals, families, and organizations in Edmonton, Calgary, and the rest of Alberta. Our family physician and nurse practitioner house calls, outreaches and vaccination clinics are one way we fulfill our "Healthcare At Your Doorstep" mission.
Doctors and Nurse Home Visits
At Canada Homecare Group (CHG), we believe that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right for everyone, and we provide exceptional care to patients of all ages. That's why we offer house calls or home visits from our family physicians and nurse practitioners to families and individuals in Edmonton and Calgary.
Seniors' Residencies and Facilities
Elderly family members require regular medical attention, but face many barriers in doing so due to lack of mobility or availability of a GP. We work with seniors' residencies to deliver healthcare to seniors from the comfort of their homes. Our services are covered by Alberta Health.
Homeless and Housing Centres
At CHG, we understand that individuals transitioning from homelessness often face various health challenges. One of the biggest challenges is neglecting their medical needs, which can lead to various health issues. We provide weekly visits to Edmonton's homeless and transitional housing facilities, including the Transitional House, to support its residents and visitors.
Outreach Programs
Due to the province‐wide shortage of General Practitioners, CHG has answered the call to offer Primary care support to communities outside of Edmonton. We facilitate bi‐monthly clinics for newcomers in Camrose, Lethbridge, Leduc and Red Deer. Our Doctors and Nurses assess, identify needs, and implement the necessary action plans.
Vaccination Clinics
CHG provides vaccination clinics for influenza (Flu) and Covid 19 vaccines yearly through various community organizations such as Africa Centre, Action for Healthy Communities, and the Somali Association. CHG has administered 965 Flu vaccines and over 3,000 Covid 19 vaccines since 2020.
