Dr Jennifer Njenga MD MPH DRPH
CEO & Founder
Dr Njenga is an Edmonton-based Physician with nearly 20 years of lived and work experience in several countries including South Africa, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Dr Njenga has a special interest in Primary Care, Public Health, Indigenous Health and Maternal and Child Health. Dr Njenga has worked with vulnerable populations including Seniors, Refugees, and Indigenous communities. She advises Alberta on issues pertaining to Refugee Health and Wellbeing.
Dr Michael Njenga MD FRNZCGP FRACGP
Medical Director
Dr Njenga is a Family Physician with nearly 20 years of work experience in Medicine. He has a special interest in General Practice, Mental Health, Refugee Health and Men’s Health, including Preventative Medicine. Dr Njenga has lived and worked in several countries including Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. His experience has awarded him the ability to appreciate the challenges involved with accessing healthcare.
Angela Gachanja RN BSN
Director of Clinical Services
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) in from Winston Salem State University in Winston Salem, North Carolina, USA.
With over 15 years of nursing experience, both in USA and Canada, Angela has worked in various acute care setting such as Cardiac and Telemetry, Emergency Department and Critical care before transitioning to the community as a Short Term Intervention Therapy (STIT) Nurse.

Dr Gift Kariko MD
Family Physician
Angolan-born and raised in Namibia and South Africa, Dr Gift Kariko moved to Alberta in 2014. She completed her medical training at the University of the Free State in South Africa. Dr Kariko has been working as a Family Physician at the Castledowns medicentre since 2014.

Clinical Manager
Ebian graduated from the University of Ottawa, with a bachelors of science degree in nursing. With over 8 years of nursing experience, Ebian has worked in neurosurgery and acute medicine. In the course of her career, Ebian has great adaptability skills, provides organized and coordinated care to patients and families.
Kulpreet Sandhu RN NP
Nurse Practitioner
Kulpreet began her nursing career as a registered nurse 14 years ago, working in long term care where she worked with seniors with complex health conditions, requiring a multidisciplinary approach.
Jacqueline Masese
Licensed Practical Nurse
Krista is our Clinic Support Specialist here at CHG. Before joining CHG, she worked as a manager in a busy family practice with multiple physicians and other healthcare providers.

Dr Alexander Lukubisa
Family Physician
Ugandan born and raised in South Africa, Dr. Lukubisa completed his medical training at the University of the Free State in South Africa. He and his wife Fiona, moved to Saskatchewan in 2010 and had three beautiful children.

Nurse Practitioner
Nonye is a nurse practitioner who has special interest in oncology and primary care. She has been a nurse for over eight years and has worked in various acute in patients settings such as urology, general surgery, orthopaedics, and general medicine.
Tyla Tkachyk
Nurse Practitioner
Tyla started her nursing career in 1997 at the University of Calgary and gained immense knowledge and experience working in trauma surgery, ER, Labor and Delivery and the Neuro/Trauma Intensive Care Unit at the Foothills Medical Centre as a registered nurse.
