Meet our CEO and Founder, Dr. Jennifer Njenga [MD MPH DRPH], a passionate healthcare provider with over 20 years of experience in primary care, public health, indigenous health, and maternal and child health.

Affectionately known as "Dr. Jennifer," she has lived and worked in several countries, including South Africa, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, where she was involved in the development and implementation of key healthcare initiatives aimed at improving community health outcomes. She works with vulnerable populations, including seniors, refugees, and indigenous communities.

Dr. Njenga has held various management positions, including Physician Liaison in Primary Care in New Zealand, Clinical Lead in the Provincial Access Team in Alberta Health Services, and Manager of Integrated Care in the Edmonton West Primary Care Network. Through her work, she has gained an understanding of the challenges related to accessing healthcare.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Njenga was recently awarded Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal in recognition of her outstanding service in Alberta, Canada, in December 2022. She was also appointed by Honourable Jason Copping, Minister of Health, as the Co-Chair of Modernizing Alberta’s Primary Health Care System (MAPS) International Panel in September 2022.

Dr. Njenga is committed to providing quality healthcare services to our communities by working with her team and collaborating with other healthcare providers to reduce unnecessary hospital visits and admissions. She is excited about the opportunity to serve communities and improve health outcomes.
When she is not working, Dr. Njenga enjoys spending quality time with her family, dancing, listening to music, and watching movies.
